Global Society for Genetics and Genome Biology (GSGGB) welcomes you to our 2nd annual research conference: Horizons in Molecular Medicine. The aim of our conference this year is to shed light on the pioneering work in molecular medicine research done in Toronto, with an emphasis on genome editing. This is achieved by bringing together world-renowned experts in various sub-fields of basic research.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, people of all ages are allowed to attend, including high school students. Students from other universities are also welcome to attend.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The most convenient way would be to take the TTC and get off at Queen's Park station. The U of T Medical Sciences Building is conveniently located footsteps away.
NOTE: There is a subway closure on the day of the conference from St Clair West to Union (which includes Queen's Park station). If you plan to take public transit, please go to College station on the Yonge Side of Line 1, and then take the 506 Carlton streetcar to Queen's Park station.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. All we require is your name.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
NEW ANSWER: Yes, but only if you bought multiple tickets under your name. So if you bought 2 tickets under your name for example, you would have to show up but you can invite any friend/family member for your 2nd ticket.
Will registration be available at the door on the day of the conference?
NEW ANSWER: Yes, but we accept cash only for registration. Registration will still be $5.
